Jim Prusak came to the podium to recognize two of our members who made contributions to the Rotary Foundation.

He explained that the Paul Harris Society recognizes contributors with pins suitable to their level of contribution. First, he presented a pin to our newest Paul Harris Society member, Ted Schick, who achieved the 1,000 point level. Next, a sapphire pin was awarded to Steve Micke, who reached the 5,000 point level. Everyone gave a big round of applause for their outstanding contributions!

Left: Women’s lapel pin, used until 1997. Right: In 1997, the Foundation standardized the designs of the medallion and lapel pin, using the same for men and women alike. Both bear the laurel wreath design used on the Multiple Paul Harris Fellow pins and are still in use today.
