The Cloquet High School Madrigals entered this week's meeting singing a medley of "Here We Come a Caroling", "Angels We  Have Heard on High", and "Deck the Halls".

Ten young women dressed in long black gowns with white trim, paused briefly as Rachel Macaulay, our Jr. Rotarian, (3rd from left) gave a welcome from the Madrigals. After taking a breath, the group continued with "What Child Is This?", "Bring a Torch", "When I Play My Pipe and Drum", "Silent Night", "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen", "A Sleigh Ride Together With You", and "Jingle Bells".  Next, their Music teacher and director, Chad Felton, came forward to lead the Madrigals in a complex new song, "Good King Kong". It was indeed tricky with kazoos, but fun! Then each girl introduced herself and said what grade she was in, including our other Cloquet High School Jr. Rotarian, Hailey Ulvi (5th from left). For their final number, the Madrigals sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" as they exited, heading across the parking lot to Evergreen Knoll, where they sang in the lobby for the residents.
